3/365 January 3 – Ice on the Thames
Ghiaccio sul Tamigi, 3 gennaio 2014
On my drive to the Board Office this morning, I saw that the Thames River had an ice jam around the Prarie Siding Bridge. After work, I headed back out with my camera to get some shots of it. None too soon, as it started to break up while I was there. About mid-way deep in the image, you can see the silky grey streak of ice as it flowed past during this 10 second exposure. The darker brown streak about a third of the way from the right edge of the image was actually a large clump of brush that had gotten trapped in the ice.
